A Love Letter to Friends and Rivals
Thank you for understanding and for teaching me
My Dearest Friends and Rivals,
Thank you for being an important part of my life. We all have our friends and our rivals and enemies. Our friends are always beside us to offer us their counsel and comfort when we need them. Our rivals and enemies make it a point to show us our imperfections, although we may not like them, we do need them. Even rivals and enemies are just human beings, playing an important part in our lives, as well as fulfilling their human destinies in this world.
My sweetest friend, my rivals and my enemies, thank you for being present in this life of mine. We all need to have friends in our lives, the people we can turn to, advice and friendship. Our rivals and enemies, affect us indirectly and do cause us to be more stressed. We must learn to be more understanding and tolerant to live stress-free lives.
My beloved friend, my rival and my enemy, we have all travelled through the old year together and we must now close the door on all that was unpleasant and keep our windows and doors open to the New Year, with its light of forgiveness, understanding, compassion, peace and love.
