After we have experienced a year, we are exhausted and worn at the end of it. During the course of a year, we go through ups, downs, challenges, hurdles, minor victories, some defeats, and perhaps one or two major victories. Our minds are focussed on our work and life during the year, which is balanced with time for the home, friends and family. At the start of a New Year, we know what we want, and we are ready to move towards it. Our primary objectives and subsidiary goals are all in front of us. By the end of a year, we know if we have succeeded in accomplishing our goals.
I feel that at the start of a New Year we need to approach it with a fresh perspective, as we clarify our goals, mission and what we hope to achieve in life. Our goals and vision do change over time, sometimes we do get side-lined by other work that comes up during a year. We tend to forget what our goals were at the start of a New Year.
Do we frame our mind at the start of a New Year? Yes, we should make a list for ourselves, about what we wish to achieve and how we can reach those objectives. Reframe your thoughts and imagine that you are entering a new door, that leads to a fresh new pathway for you to walk on, to discover new ideas, uncover new ways to grow and evolve and a great new opportunity, for you to correct those mistakes, learn from them and achieve all you need to do, to become a better human being.
Reframe your mind, with a list of goals, objectives, visions, dreams, ways to reach them and how you can use them to grow as an individual. Meditate on your unique place in the world and always know that your presence and work make a difference to the world, the universe and most importantly, helps you to develop as a fully formed human being. Create your New Year state of mind today.
