We tend to forget about our silent beating heart. It is only when there are incidences in life, do we remember our heart. We need to keep our hearts healthy, by regular exercises and by eating healthier foods. As writers, we know that our hearts and minds work together in harmony with our bodies and our environment.
What sort of heart do you have emotionally? Is it one that likes to express gentle thoughts or one that feels more at home, with action and emotions? There are writers who are content writing about action, force and violent stuff, that is certainly not for the faint-hearted.
If you have a savage heart beating in your chest, what types of stories have you written and if you have a gentler heart, what types of stories do you compose? As a writer, I am comfortable saying that I have a savage heart beating in my chest. I want to write about action, wars, dungeons, knights, dragons and great tales about warlords, Emperors, Kings and Queens, facing monsters, barbarians on battlefields across universes strange and new.
As a writer with a savage heart, I am comfortable writing about topics with passion and enthusiasm. I collect my facts and using that information, I mould, craft and blend my topics. I want my writings to stir the hearts and minds of the readers. Furthermore, I wish that my work makes the reader interested and care about the topic, which is my ultimate goal. Have I succeeded in making you want to discover your savage writer’s heart?
