We imagine that we can think about just one thing, while we close our minds and meditate. This is not always true. One thought moves on to another, like a train of thoughts, that just keeps on going, never stopping, at a station, but moving rapidly on. Have you ever tried to focus on just one thought for ten minutes, that single thought, and nothing else?
I have tried and I have failed. The maximum amount of time that I can remain with one single thought is about two minutes. It is only when I write a poem a story or an article in one sitting, that I can focus on one thought. These thoughts are images that I see in my mind. These images are ideas that I put down on paper. There are times when the words just come to my mind and there is no stopping these spontaneous creative expressions. They are all from the inner recesses of my mind, which form opinions on the subjects that I am writing about.
An arrow of thought would be just one thought that moves through time and space, filled with the same energy and purpose when it was fired from the bow of imagination and creativity. Have you been able to focus on just one thought for ten minutes as you meditate?
If you can hold just one thought for a long period, that thought will accumulate creative power and it could make that thought materialize whatever you wish for in life. A strong thought or impression in your mind can attract whatever you want, to you in life.
Let us think about an apple, an apple on a tree. It is a bright red apple, it looks ripe and ready to fall, into the basket held in the hands of the young maiden who is collecting them from the tree. The apple shines and it glistens in the Sun. This apple reminds me of the apple that the sleeping beauty swallowed in that fairytale. The red apple reminds me of the one that Eve broke from the forbidden tree and gave to Adam. The large red apple, that is about to fall from the tree branch reminds me of William Tell, the Archer, who shot an apple, as it rested on the head of his young son. Apple reminds me of that computer company of the same name. An apple on a tree has come a long way in this train of creative thinking.
