Beyond Those Walls
What lies just beyond your boundaries?
Beyond those walls lies many things.
There could be forests and streams,
There could be wild beasts and fields.
There could also be cars with great wheels.
There are walls wherever we look.
Walls of all types, some concrete and some glass.
Walls of boards, that fence things in and things out.
Those walls sometimes make us despair and shout.
What lies beyond all those great walls?
The small walls we can break and cross.
The tall walls stop us in our living tracks.
We face disappointment and loss.
What lies beyond your boundaries?
Those walls you dare not break and cross.
There could be the most dangerous paths in life.
There could also be pathways of gold to a better life.
Break those walls that you see all around you.
It is time to move beyond those boundaries.
It is your moment to rise and to finally shine.
Time to feast, party, receive awards and wine.
