A baby in front of the Door

The sound of a child crying,
Was heard just outside the door.
It was a newborn baby,
Placed in a woolly blanket on the floor.

It was Christmas once again,
He had bought the Christmas tree.
His three children were as happy as can be,
Waiting for the gifts to be placed under the tree.
His wife was busy cooking up a storm,
Getting ready for the big Christmas lunch.
