An umbrella was created to protect someone from the rain and the Sun. A form of protection was needed against the elements and the creative thinker sat down, thought about the roof of a house, a shade, and a canopy, and then possibly came up with the idea of inventing an umbrella. The creative thinker thought creatively and the umbrella was born.

It could be used as a weapon as it has been in the movie, “The Avengers”, with the secret agent character, John Steed using it as an offensive and defensive weapon. The umbrella has also been used effectively in the martial arts movie, “Shadow”. There are several impressive fight scenes in this movie.
What are the other creative uses of an umbrella? It could be used as a parachute, as it has been in a few action thrillers, where the main character, eludes capture by jumping off a building or a cliff, with an umbrella, that turns into a proper parachute.
