Few people liked Joe Hastings. He was feared by the people who worked for him in his shoe factory. Many were fired for making the simplest errors, like sending the wrong shoe to a good customer or spilling coffee onto the million-dollar leather-cutting machine. There was also the fact that he took ownership of the factory when his father died under suspicious circumstances.
Joseph Hastings was a hideous-looking man. He had two long red scars on both sides of his face. They say that he was trapped between two metallic bars of an electrified fence, when he tried to get into a mansion, as a teenager, to steal the valuables of the rich couple who lived on the premises.
He jumped off a yacht after he had held people hostage and stole their valuables. A shark attacked him while he clung to his stolen sack of items. Joseph lost a foot to the shark while swimming in the sea.
Joseph had a misshapen skull when he stole and crashed his father’s sportscar into a wall. A part of his ear was bitten off, by a ferocious dog, when he tried to steal the diamond necklace, of its owner, while she was jogging through the park.
When Joseph acquired a large property, he was overjoyed. The owner of the large estate fell down the stairs. The man was in his sixties, and the death looked very suspicious. It looked like the man was pushed, but no one could prove it.
There was a special large mirror that was in the attic of Joseph’s property. He always liked to look at his image in this magical mirror, because he was perfect in the mirror image. Joseph had no imperfections in that mirror. It was a dangerous and positive reflection of him and he loved it. Could his reflection steal his life?
One day, the unexpected happened. The evil and villainous Joseph Hastings was pulled into the mirror, by his good reflection. The positive Joseph stepped out of that mirror on that fateful day. Everyone noticed the difference. This Joseph was nothing like that evil man, he was happier and a positive influence in the world.
Is this based on a true story, Warren?
