Does "a Shadow of a Doubt" throw a Spanner in the Works?

I believe that a hint of doubt does affect a project or vision

Something is deemed to be true, when we use the expression, “without a shadow of a doubt”. However, when we have doubts about anything, it will have an impact of whatever, project, mission or vision we are involved in life. Suppose we have a large undertaking that needs to be completed in a few weeks. We later discover that the company is closing down, according to the rumours. This may not be true, and it could be just gossip. It will affect the work that is being done by every member in the company. Till it is proved untrue, “without a shadow of a doubt”.

To be doubtful about something, does affect our performance. If we doubt ourselves, our confidence is affected. If we doubt the honesty of the people we work and live with, it does affect our relationships. When we doubt anything in life, our life and work gets affected. This has a drastic effect on our work and life performance.

“A shadow of a doubt”, will throw a spanner in the works. We see this in so many movies and in stories. The characters appear to be someone they are not, while the other players, have no notion, about their true motives. It is only when a person or situation is deemed to be true, “without a shadow of a doubt”, do the other characters trust them. This trust may be misplaced, especially if the people they placed their trust in, were really deceptive. The friend is actually the villain, and the Hero turns out to be the anti-hero.

What are your opinions on “a shadow of a doubt” and does it affect your life if you hear gossip, fake news and altered facts? I believe that a hint that something is not true, does affect the quality of any project and makes a difference, especially in stories and in life.
