Does the “Power of One” actually occur in real life?
Have you met or heard of such a real person?
We have all heard of the “power of one” to make a difference in life. There are some of us who have met such a person, while there are others who have heard about such a person, while there are individuals who are that person.
I can speak from actual experience, that my Dad, who passed away recently, was a force to reckon with and he was one person who made a big difference to the community he worked with in India. Dad worked for the Christian community and for the Anglo-Indian community, through his writings, organising events and making people aware of the richness of both.
There are notable personalities who have made a great difference to society, like Mother Teresa. I met her when I was a teenager. She was a powerful woman and did a lot of charitable work in India and her influence spread across the globe.
Have you met such a person or are you the type of person who believes that it is possible to make a difference in the world? I support this idea, and know that one person can make a difference, without the need of Boards, committees and forums to do some projects. My dad organised concerts, exhibitions, published newsletters and got people together for events, as well as created, presented awards to those chosen members in society, for their outstanding and noteworthy contributions. I look forward to hearing about the “Power of One”, in your life.
