Does Your Tastes in Food Change Over the Years?
I feel that my taste in food has remained constant to an extent

I love potatoes, since I was a child, and I still do. Though I try not to overdo my love for potatoes. I love eating aubergine or brinjals as a child, and I still enjoy having it as a side-dish. I love eating rice and noodles, so I do indulge myself with plain rice, fried rice, biryani on some days and on other days, or at least once a week, I have my noodles dish from our Chinese takeaway on the corner of our street.

Do you feel that your taste in food has changed over the years? I feel that my likes and dislikes have not changed much over the years. I have not always loved fish, but I enjoy a nice warm fish and chips any day of the week. Furthermore, I do not mind prawns and shrimp in any preparations, or even calamari, which I enjoy.
If your tastes in food has changed drastically over the years, was there a reason for this, or did you just choose to eat different dishes? I would love to know if there is a reasonable explanation as to why our tastes in food change and do not change.

It may be that our taste in food changes as a reaction to our environment. We adapt our tastes in food to suit ourselves and the environment we inhabit. Our food habits change also if we are allergic to certain things we eat later in life. Whatever your likes and dislikes about food, always remember to eat what is healthy to stay happy always.

Yes, I think tastes change over time - for instance I prefer organic/gluten free foods and I can't take spiciness in food as I used to :)
