There are some people who are living the life that they envisioned years ago. Those people have discovered the great power of belief and visualization. A number of individuals, who are programmed to think pessimistically, always seem to feel that the world is against them. While there are those individuals who have positive experiences in the world, which are directly related to the way that they perceive the world.

The world is a mirror, that our mind holds up to us, every morning and every day of our lives. It has been said that with the power of autosuggestion and visualization, you can make “miracles” happen. While you may not be able to leap over buildings like Superman or think like Albert Einstein, you can change your life.

“Change Your Mind and Change Your Life”, should be the chant or mantra for everyone in life. We can change our lives, by trying to do so. An optimistic woman will look at the rain, the water on the roads, the traffic jams, the floods and think to herself that water is always good, and the earth needs it. Sometimes, life gets too hectic and we all need to slow down. Perhaps, it is a way for the cosmic forces to make us relax, slow down and move at a slower pace on that particular rainy day.

A pessimist, on the other hand, will say to himself, that the forces are definitely working against him. He has so much to do, there is so little time in a day. He just cannot manage to meet his deadlines. Furthermore, he will need to stay at home and do all the work he can remotely, while feeling so depressed and miserable for the whole day. Several cups of coffee prepared by his wife, with cookies brought by the cheery children to him, as he works, will not alleviate his bad mood.

You can change the way that you look at the world, by changing the way that you “see” the world. A few positive affirmations said every morning is the first step. The second step would be to meditate for five to ten minutes every day and absorb all the positive vibes that circle around you. The third part of the process would be to visualize yourself doing everything you wanted to do, with everything going your way. The fourth and most powerful step is to do positive and practical work in the world. This is your opportunity to be a positive force in the world today. You will soon discover that your mind will create a positive world for you and for everyone who inhabits it.
