Episode 10: Market of Book Deal Generators
The Publish and Die Protocol-Fiction Series
The book publishing industry is now filled with a variety of book deal generators. However, the book deal generators only offer the Authors' small book deals for a few thousand pounds. The bigger publishers are not willing to sign up for these smaller book deal generators.
Angela was one such book deal publisher who wanted to increase the sales of her thousand-dollar book deal generator. She had visited my office that morning to discuss her plans.
Angela was also an author and the idea of the instant book deal generator appealed to her. She was an entrepreneur and had set up a few small businesses over the years. Angela was in her early thirties and had three children. Her husband Arthur was the Manager of a Store.
Angela was wearing a light blue blouse and black jeans when she entered my office. She had brought a file along with the plans of her Instant book deal Generator.
“Hi Angela, how are you? It has been quite a while since I last saw you,” I said.
“Yes, we met two years ago at the Writers Conference in London,” she said smiling.
“Did you bring your plans for your Instant Book Deal Generator?”, I asked.
“Yes, Richard, I have them here. I have made a few alterations to this Generator which seems to be faulty.
“Angela, perhaps, you could sell my Instant Book Deal Generators as an Affiliate for me.”
“Thanks that would be a good idea, Richard.”
“We could also offer you training in the Instant Book Deal Generator course,” I said.
“What would be the content of the Instant Book Deal Generator Course?”, she asked.
“It will be a course about how to make a book suitable and eligible for the Instant Book Deal Generator, after all the content of the book is of utmost importance if publishers are going to publish, distribute and sell a book for profit.”
“Yes, that makes perfect sense.”
The Instant Book deal Generators were now very popular and writers were now turning away from the other book deal generators to buy copies of the Instant Million Dollar Book deal Generator. Copies of the Number 1 Generator were being sold by publishing affiliates all over the world for huge profits. The Age of Rock Star Independent Authors has dawned and almost every author wants to become a part of this New Age of Publishing, a sort of Publishing Renaissance.
A large number of writers also realized the fact that All Million Dollar book deals do not get to be Bestsellers. The Authors were happy with the creation, which had literally propelled them from being just self-published authors to Authors who now had million-dollar book deals from large established book publishers.
I was at work when I received a call from Shelly’s parents, that Shelly had a road accident when she was on her way back home from work. A cyclist had crashed into Shelly when she was walking to work. Shelly got knocked down on the street, her knees were bruised, she had a gash across her forehead when her head hit the pavement and there was a bad bruise on her right shoulder. The road accident gets Shelly hospitalized.
I visit Shelly every day at the hospital. Three days later, after observation, she was allowed to be taken home.
There was a lull in our publishing business after Shelly’s accident. The team was still fine-tuning the Million Dollar Book Deal program, which we had released a month ago. We were receiving good reviews from users who had put their manuscripts through the process and who were enjoying the resounding results of their success in securing Instant Million-dollar Book Deals.
Tycoon Wayne Morrow, the Founder, and CEO of “Gold Leaf Publishing” releases his Multi-Million Book Contract which seems to trounce the original Million-dollar Book Deal generator.
A number of publishers withdraw their support from my Million-dollar program, as they receive a bigger profit from the tycoon publisher.
There were a dozen Independent Author-Entrepreneurs who were willing to stand by me.
I receive the full support of this small group of Indie Publishers who form a Consortium.
The Code of the Independent Authors, Agents, Publishers, Vloggers and Bloggers Consortium stated:
“Every Author who was born to write will continue to write with passion till his last breath.”
“An Independent Author enjoys and saviors the air of freedom in writing, editing, publishing, and marketing his or her work.”
“An Independent Author is a one-man-band or one-woman-band which can never stop playing the music of creative writing.”
“The fiery flame which burns within the bosom of an independent author makes his or her writings shine even in the brightest sunshine.”
“Rejection letters are the small triggers which make an independent author know that he or she has chosen the right path.”
“Negative reviews do not defeat an independent author, but make him or her continue on that quest for writing what is on their minds and in their hearts.”
“Independent Authors, either men or women wake up, live, and dream about their writings. He gets up in the morning thinking about a plotline. During the day she develops a sequence of scenes. She thinks about new characters in the afternoon. The evening is filled with creating new challenges for his protagonist to face. At night he puts all the pieces of the puzzle together as he types an outline to his chapter for a story. The next morning, she dreams up yet another fascinating story. During the day she designs a book cover. One week later, she publishes her story online. The next day she posts her book launch on social media. The next month she starts the process once again. Who cares if the book was a success or not? The fact is that the writer’s thoughts are out there in the world for his or her readers to relish and enjoy.”
Being an Independent Author was now a profession of choice by so many young and retired people. It was a way to express themselves creatively as well as to earn a stable income. With the help of the Instant Bestseller generators, it was now possible for anyone to write a bestseller.
Society and the field of Independent publishing were undergoing a major transformation. SWAMP agents were the bearers of fear. If an independent author was successful in his or her enterprise, they would threaten him or her and their family, till he or she gave up writing.
Richard Foxxen and others like him who enjoyed the freedom of Independent publishing would not allow SWAMP to take over their lives and the world.
SWAMP was only satisfied once it controlled all authors, agents, publishers, video-bloggers, and bloggers of the world. The book written and published independently by Richard Foxxen “Renaissance Publishing” was now considered a Bible for anyone wanting to become an independent author Entrepreneur.
The Foxxen Independent Publishing company provided hope for independent authors. Richard wanted writers to have a light at the end of a dark tunnel of rejections. Every author needed to know that they did not have to live penniless just because they were authors. Writers needed to thrive with the help of their published works. There were patrons in the form of hungry readers who were willing to support the lives of authors whose works they enjoyed reading. All writers worldwide now had the chance to enjoy the freedom of expression, by publishing their work independently. The Richard Foxxen Publishing House was going to provide the ultimate dream for all authors, which is to become successful and to produce million-dollar bestsellers every time they publish their books.
All over the world and especially in the Literary Cities of the globe, the flame of independent publishing was now spreading. SWAMP and the other giant publishers who had held authors in a stranglehold were now aware of this dangerous phenomenon.
The Foxxen Independent Publishing Company was setting up publishing workshops and centers in major cities.
In Edinburgh, Scotland new independent authors were now publishing their works using the Foxxen Augmented Reality publishing methods.
In Dublin, Ireland, more authors were publishing their writings using virtual reality instant publishing tools.
London, England was abuzz with the writings of new independent authors who were bringing the city and its people to embrace the innovative immersive technology of Foxxen live publishing tools and techniques.
The French authors in Paris were now creating live published books focused around food, fashion, and history with a worldwide audience.
Russian authors were holding writing and publishing marathons in St. Petersburg, with the new live virtual reality publishing tools of Foxxen Publishing.
In Stockholm Sweden, authors were publishing books live based on investigative adventures into crime, music, ecology, sport, science, and culture.
In Portland, Oregon, more authors were now taking part in live book publishing festivals for independent authors, bloggers, reporters, and reviewers.
The Authors Conference in Washington, D.C. was now involved in week-long discussions into the freedom of independent book publishing, using live augmented reality tools. The live published books from the conference crossed a billion copies sold worldwide on the first day. The sales of the instant book deal program were the new publishing sensation in the industry.
In Melbourne, Australia, more authors were competing in the live book publishing championships. Independent Authors from countries as far as Africa, Tibet, and Egypt were all taking part in the live publishing contests.
The Independent Authors Live Publishing Challenge in Santiago, Chile was held once in three months. This was an event that was open to authors from all over the world. The manual for every author was a copy of the book by Richard Foxxen, “Publishing Renaissance”. The live publishing challenge involved the use of the Foxxen Publishing Generator programs, which was changing the face of independent publishing every second of every day.
Isaac had a gift and that gift was to see into the future of the next day. He worked in a small computer store and lived in a box-room above a fast-food shop. The room was built on the roof of the food shop. It had an asbestos roof and it felt like an ice-box in winter and a furnace in summer. Isaac would fall ill inevitably during the winter and summer seasons. When sleeping in his room was intolerable, he would visit the comfort of the warm library in winter and enjoy the cool air of the library in summer.
Yet, this evening Isaac was standing on the street in the cold wet rainy weather.
He knew that something was going to occur on this street and he needed to be there when it happened.
Isaac knew that everything was connected. He sometimes had to be at certain places, at certain times and he needed to go out of his way to save people because it all was somehow joined together like a tapestry.
As he waits on the street, he feels cold and begins to shiver. It is raining as he stands on the street. His umbrella gives him no protection against the sharp winds blowing.
The young man notices a car coming down the road, moving from side to side. The driver must be drunk he thinks to himself. He then has an image flash before his eyes, of a young woman clutching her chest as she desperately hangs onto the steering wheel of the car, trying to gain control.
The woman is having a heart attack as she is driving, he needs to save her.
He watches as a truck takes a turn and comes around the corner of the narrow street.
The lights of the truck are brightly shining as the driver keeps on honking his horn to warn the driver of the red car to move out of the way.
As the red car passes Isaac, he leaps onto the side of the car and tries to open the door.
The window glass is down, so Isaac slips his hand inside the car and opens the door, which swings open, as the car keeps on moving towards the truck.
The road is narrow, so it is difficult for the driver of the large truck to move away.
Isaac manages to steady himself, as he pushes the young woman to the next seat and sits in the driver’s seat.
Isaac knows that he will gain control of the car, but he needs to move fast.
The young woman is terrified and in pain as she clutches her chest and looks at the truck coming towards them.
Isaac moves his hands onto the steering wheel, gains control and in a matter of seconds manages to steer them out of the way of the oncoming truck, which swerves and thunders past them.
He and the young lady are relieved at the quick save and the fast thinking of Isaac.
Isaac immediately rushes the young woman to the hospital and into the Emergency Ward.
The attending nurse tells Isaac that he had brought the young lady in time and saved her from dying of a massive heart attack.
Richard reads the story in the papers about a young man who helps an accident victim. According to the news report, the young man did not give his name but disappeared quietly into the night. The hero vanished as mysteriously as he had appeared to save the life of the young woman called Gloria, who worked as a telephone operator in a hotel for two hours, drive away from the city.
Isaac loses his job in the computer store, which closes down after going at a loss. He then loses his home, when he cannot pay the bills. He knew that he had a purpose in life. He lived to save others after he lost his family, his wife, and two sons in a tsunami in the Philippines about four years ago.
It was only a few weeks after surviving the Tsunami that Isaac discovered that he had a gift of seeing visions of people who he could save. He often wondered if his visions were a blessing or a curse. His visions compelled him to go out of his way to save people. He could not save his family, they would never return to him, but he could save others from death. Would he be able to save himself when death came for him?
That evening Isaac is lost and lonely as he finds a place to stay in an abandoned building, opposite the library he loved visiting. He only wished that he had a job to do. No one would give him a job. He carried all his life’s possessions in a large green bag.
That evening Isaac had a vision of a person approaching him who would change his life forever and who would give him a purpose to live.
The next night as he slept in his spot in the abandoned building, he saw the figure of a man in the shadows.
That shadow spoke to him and offered to change his life.
