
He had complete freedom, with the ability to go wherever he wanted and to do whatever he needed to do. When everyone was at home, he was out walking around all the areas of the neighbourhood, from the open fields, gardens to the darkest alleys. He knew every part of his city and he loved his freedom.
There came a time when he got tired of visiting the same places and seeing the same things and he wanted something different. He was sure that life was more exciting beyond the city and he needed to have some of that action, in greener fields and with new stuff to munch on every day.
The next morning, he stood near the bus stand and when no one was looking he sneaked aboard. He got off after an hour and saw this great new fantastic city, with its bright lights and broken buildings. Even the people seemed different, there were more of them walking and sitting on the streets, there were a few of them lying on the streets, it was different form the city he lived in. He decided to walk around and see the homes and restaurants and taste some of their delish delights.
That night the cat was captured, put in a cage and sold to a buyer online for five hundred bucks. That free cat had lost his freedom. Do we value our freedom or are we like Jupiter the feline, who hopes we can escape the freedom our free and boring familiar life and go to a secret escape where life is more exciting?
