Jim met a lovely girl, Sarah and in no time,
They were in love and sipping wine.
They married and had two children.
He also had a big promotion to win.
Time flew by and the seasons did too.
He was now a grandfather, wise and grey.
Jim and Sarah knew that seconds flew by,
Eternity was approaching in the blink of an eye.
We can never truly stop as time flies by.
Today becomes yesterday in due course.
