During the year we are all in the serious business of life, work, living and loving. There is no time to relax and to have fun. Are you a person with a funny bone or is there someone else in your family, who always likes to share humour?
I have always loved comedies and comedians over the years. Charles Chaplin, the Marx Brothers, Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy were the comedians, I enjoyed watching, though they were much before my time. I guess this love for movies was passed down by my father to me. The comedians I enjoyed watching over the years, were Dave Allen, Richard Pryor, Jimmy Carr, Ricky Gervaise, Michael McIntyre, Jerry Seinfield, Chris Rock and TV series like Frasier, 30 Rocks and Third Rock from the Sun and so many more.
“All I want for Christmas is a nap… and maybe a million dollars.”
“May your holiday be filled with as much joy as your credit card bill allows!”
“Happy Holidays! Let’s celebrate with our only workout this season: lifting cookies to our mouths.”
Why was the snowman looking through the carrots? He was picking his nose!”
“May your holidays be as bright as your Christmas sweater!”
“Beware of the Con around the corner, to make a Million Dollars for Christmas.”
“Someone always tries to sell you something useless, especially during Christmas”.
“Celebrate Christmas in peace, joy and harmony with family, without breaking the bank.”
Humour is important and you should try to find something funny or say a joke at least once a day. Laughter as it has been said is the best medicine. This festive season, spread fun, laughter and humour, with friends and family.
