It is a cloudy Friday here in London. The rain clouds are threatening, and I think that the black clouds will break in another hour. The thunder and lightning will herald the heavy rainfall. There are not many pedestrians on the city streets, and it looks as if everyone is just waiting for the rains to arrive.
The mood on a Friday is a lot slower, with most people working at home and enjoying the luxury of a long weekend. The schools are closed in the city. The children are at home or on their half-term holidays with their families.
As writers, we need to capture every moment that we live and observe in our writings. Friday is usually a day to sit back and relax. For me, it is a day to watch a good film. I prefer action movies, from thrillers to westerns, martial arts or dramas that keep the pulse pounding or a crazy comedy.
