Seven months are done, the new year is no longer new. The eighth month of August has arrived, with its lovely flowers, rain showers and bright sunshine. We have experienced so much over the past few months. In the month of June, I lost my Dad, it was a heart-breaking month. The month of June was also a hectic month when so much that needed to be done by me and the family, after my father had passed away.
July was a month, when we travelled back home to London. It was time to get back to work. There were moments when I was still reaching for my phone to speak to my father. The sense of loss still remains, but the only comforting thought is that my dad is with my mother who passed away almost fifteen years ago.
Returning home, was also time for me to get back to my creative writing. I wrote a number of articles and poems, prepared a few YouTube videos about the loss of my father. Writing was and is my way of grieving. The month of July was the time for me to catch up on the different serials I was following on Netflix and Disney+, from “Only Murders in the Building”, to “Secret Invasion”, “The Night Agent”, “Shooter”, “Transatlantic”, “Mandalorian” and “Falcon and the Winter Soldier”.
Today is the 1st of August and I am looking forward to writing more interesting materials, as well as creating more AI art. I love creating AI art, as it also inspires my creative writing process. Have a great summer and enjoy the month of August, living, loving, writing and thriving.
