Will faith and hope get lost in the darkness?
Thin rays of light, filter through the darkness.
Elongated shadows dance in the night.
People walk in darkness and search in vain,
For light coming through darkness and rain.

Great rays of sunbeams and light so bright.
The Sun never does shine in a dark night.
We can only see under the pale Moon light.
There can never be light in a world of shadows.
No light beams shine through windows and doors.
In a world of darkness where deception abounds,
Goodness is muted and does not utter a sound.
Faith, hope, peace, love and unity do not shine,
In a world that has lost the essence of the divine.
In a world that has lost its way in the darkness.
There is no place for faith, hope and helplessness.
