She was lost in the mountains.
Everywhere she looked there were obstacles.
There did not seem to be a clear path.
Every walk up was steep,
Every step down was dangerous.
She was lost in the mountains,
With no hope of finding her way back home.
She was too tired, to walk, hike or roam.
The mountain was steep, dark, and slippery.
He was lost in the mountains for three days.
He stayed in a cave he found a day ago.
He lived off the fruits and berries.
There was no hope of finding his way.
His compass was broken beyond repair.
He was lost in the mountains and the hills,
He was unshaven with long straggly hair.
They were lost in the mountains,
Of their work and their careers.
They were weak and vulnerable,
To all their terrors and their fears.
The only way that they could ever find,
Their way back to the real world,
Was to gain some peace of mind.
Have you ever been lost in the mountains,
Of your work, life, and profession?
Perhaps, you need to slow down and pray,
That a spiritual light will guide you on your way.
The flame of wisdom will open up any gate,
To calm your mind as you meditate.
