This year I was thinking about golden memories.
Those that we can never really forget in life.
They are etched in our minds and our hearts.
They are always close by and never far apart.
Memories of good times when we were children.
Happy times when we were teenagers.
Golden times with parents, friends and family.
Those stay in our hearts for all eternity.
This Christmas I thought about my parents.
I thought about the good times as a family
Life is short and we need to cherish those times.
Warm memories keep us warm in the coldest climes.
We are often told and it must be very true,
Those memories are worth their weight in gold.
We enter this world with empty minds and pure souls.
Our memories are precious diamonds and not rough coals.
This year-end, you can relax and recall at will,
All those golden memories that haunt you still.
The simple moments in our busy lives can be,
Preserved as golden cherished memories for eternity.
