A myth is usually defined as a traditional story aimed at answering life’s questions, the creation of the world, the four seasons, and the reasons for day and night. Myths existed since the dawn of time to explain the natural and the supernatural world for man. Every culture in the world has its own explanation of how the world came to exist. Myths explore archetypical images and themes. An archetype refers to some sort of motif, model, or symbol, which represents an idealistic behavior that people can aspire to in life. Myths are considered sacred in world cultures.
