There was a friend I know,
Who was very excited to go,
To visit her parents’ good friend,
Who was celebrating her birthday.
It was her ninety-second celebration.
A big birthday that was special and rare.
Friends and family were present there.
The years of our life do fly by.
Every year is a beautiful day,
Under the grey, orange or blue sky.
We say that life flies by in a blink,
Sometimes we rise and sometimes sink.
Does life seem ninety-seconds long at times?
We enjoy our life and it flies by on silver wings.
Make every day special and maybe in time,
Your life will be a celebration in gilded wings.
How much could you do in ninety seconds?
A lot can be done in one minute I feel.
You could make a proper cup of tea,
You could microwave a meal as well.
What other amazing things could be done,
Imagine and let your imagination run.
A minute and a half is quite a long time,
Perhaps you could write your life in rhyme.
