Pieces of His Soul
Every piece was from one heart
They were scattered,
Pieces were everywhere.
He would always find them.
They were shared pieces of his soul.
Only when they all came together,
Would he feel complete and whole?
Every morning and every day,
He did go to work to pay his bills.
Every evening, he visited his parents,
He loved them with all his heart.
He was a good son in every way and part.
Every night he returned home,
To his wife and his two daughters.
There was no time left for him,
He was pulled in so many directions.
In life, he knew love and care always win.
It was only at night when the Moon shone bright.
When he closed his eyes and meditated,
That he could bring all the pieces together.
It did require effort, serenity and will,
To complete his life’s enigmatic puzzle.
Every time he was taking care of something,
A bit of his soul was shared in that moment.
His life was decorated with pieces of his soul.
Every piece was shared for what and who he cared about.
All the pieces did come together to make him whole.
