A full day’s work has been done, a battle of the working mind has been waged and the war has been won. The full-time job has been completed, emails sent and spam deleted. The clock has struck five, you have logged out of the system and shut down your computer for the day. The job that pays the bills and takes care of all of life’s bare necessities, has been successfully done.
It is now time for you to refresh yourself with a nice warm bath, and sit down with comfortable clothes in comfort in front of the television with your family. Or get ready to go out with friends to celebrate the end of a work day or the start of a great weekend. Whatever you do now, just remember that work is over and you need to enjoy yourself, relax and rejuvenate for the next day or the beginning of a new week.
I like to relax with friends and with family, either eating out, visiting places, or watching movies at the cinema or at home. I also enjoy doing a bit of sketching at the weekend. At the end of the day, during the week, I enjoy watching my favorite movies or television serials. This is the time to allow your mind to relax and rest. This is also the best time to do about ten to fifteen minutes of meditation, as you keep a “blank” and “open” mind as you let your mind and all your thoughts drift away. Meditation is definitely an invigorating exercise for everyone and we should all make it part of our everyday routine. How do you relax at the end of a busy work day or at the weekend?
