A racehorse is used to exercising every day and competing in races every season. A racehorse is lost, lonely, and depressed when it retires and cannot race anymore. A writer is similar to a racehorse who needs to race and practise every skill it knows every day to be in peak condition for the race. A racehorse can overcome any obstacle that it comes across on its course. A writer can create stories and is also able to overcome writer’s block.
A racehorse learns by practising its routine every day as it trains to be the best and in the case of the horse, it needs to be a winner for the owner and the jockey who is riding it. Whereas, in the case of a writer, he or she needs to submit written pieces to a deadline, if he or she is employed as a writer in a firm. When writing is a hobby, the writer feels the need to compose a piece of literature whenever an idea comes along for a good story.
A routine is very essential for a writer. He or she falls into a pattern for doing creative writing. Some writers prefer to write at the start of the day when the mind is fresh after a good night’s sleep. There are other writers, who enjoy writing in the evenings and the nights, after the work and chores of the day are done, especially when writing is a hobby.
A racehorse retires and is sent out to pasture to spend the rest of its days. However, a writer does not need to rest, leave or retire from writing, when creating pieces of literature is a hobby. The best part of being a writer is that writing is good for your brain and helps to keep the mind alert. All you need to do later in your years is get an adequate amount of exercise, eat healthy foods and make sure to write and read every day.

Haha so true, even if we're not "racing" for a deadline, there's still that inner push to write when an idea comes. It's like we can't help ourselves, no?😁❤❤
I too agree that writing is good for the brain as well as the mind!
