There are so many life experiences we have in a lifetime. We remember most of these events in our lives. There comes a time, when we can only recount a handful of our experiences as memories fade. Life is to be lived and we are all blessed to be a part of this great life in this wonderful world we inhabit.
Life is filled with ups, downs, happiness, sadness, joys, failures and victories. A number of us get discouraged when we get knocked down in life’s trials. A few of us know the secret to picking ourselves up, removing the dust from our clothes and getting up to face life’s challenges. Most of us do succeed in life, while there are others who do not enjoy the sweet taste of success.
Regardless of winning or losing in this chess-game of life, we need to live our experiences. As writers we have the added advantage of recounting and recording our lives in everything that we create as literary artistic pieces during our lifetime. These pieces of writing that we produce as writers and creators are invaluable to us and to our readers. We are all unique individuals, yet we can all benefit from reading about the lives and ideas of others.
Do you record your life experiences in your writing? I do and it is very empowering to go back and to re-read my work. Every piece that I write is influenced by something that I have observed or have emotionally connected to in life. Writing one piece a day is good practise and a great way of capturing the flavour of one day in your life. I enjoy writing and it is also a wonderful way for me to express my creative ideas in the work that I produce. As a writing prompt, I would like to encourage you to find a reasons or reasons as to why you should be writing one literary piece every day of your life.
