Jane’s parents had a bookshop,
There were books here, there, and everywhere.
There was no place to sit and to rest,
Every spot was occupied and so was every chair.
She loved being surrounded,
By a forest of books old and new.
Every stack of books reminded Jane of a tree,
They always looked so colorful and pretty.
As a child, she flipped through the pages,
Of almost every picture book in the room.
She loved this library forest of wonderful books.
Like a chef loves the kitchen in which he cooks.
As an adult Jane loved books,
She wished that she had more time to read.
There was no time in her busy life and family,
It seemed it was not part of her destiny.
One day, she got a wonderful surprise.
An Uncle left her a bookshop in his Will.
Working in a shop filled with knowledge energy,
It was where she had always wanted to be.
