We love living in a paradise, either it is one that we have created or one that was given to us. In reality, we work, earn, and buy our paradise. either the perfect home or we create one that is perfect for us to have a comfortable existence. In real life paradise can get smashed, when things happen unexpectedly, that disrupt the normal course of our lives.
As writers, we get the idea for a story. We give our characters a world to inhabit, that is perfect and which represents paradise for them. It is only after we introduce conflicts into that “paradise”, do we smash it to smithereens. Almost every character in every story has his or her “paradise” destroyed by the creator, the writer, who needs to build an entertaining story.
Here are a few of the stories I wrote recently, where characters have their “paradise”, destroyed.
Here are a few great articles, stories and poems, you are welcome to read, penned by some amazing writers here on Substack.

Destructing to build... yes! We do this. Of necessity.
