We have seen the movies of the furious storms at sea. The tall waves lash at the ships, sometimes overturning them in the rough waters. Sailors lose their lives as they struggle to keep the ship afloat. They hope that the storms will end, and the sea will become calm once again. Ships filled with valuable materials, spices, silks, and treasures like gold and jewels, have been scattered on the sea floor, after shipwrecks. Those ships that can weather the storms on the high seas, find peace on the tranquil seas after the storms have passed. Great captains and sailors have weathered many fierce storms at sea and gone forward to make their fortunes in life.
Have you faced the fury of storms at sea, and what did you learn about those moments and yourself? There have also been storms on the high seas of my life.
