The Accomplishment Record of Victory
What did you accomplish this year?
Do you keep a record of your accomplishments? Maybe you do and maybe you do not, and neither do I. However, this is something we should all keep. A simple list to begin with that lists all the small and seemingly inconsequential triumphs that you have achieved. The more you think about your victories, no matter how insignificant, you will find that your mind will reveal more of your successes to you.
Keep an accomplishment record of all the victories, minor and major that you have achieved in life. You will be surprised at your number of victories rising. Almost every victory that you can remember is important, as it was a part of your experience in life. When you achieve your goals, with your focus and attention, it makes an impact on your life and those of others.
What did you accomplish this year? I know that I have written a lot of articles, stories and poems this year. I have had several small triumphs, now that I look at my mental shortlist. This year has been a victorious year although I did have some failures too, but that story is for another day.
At the end of every year, make it a regular way of keeping account of what you have done. This will spur you on to bigger victories, and they will serve to inspire you when you feel depressed in the future. Every success is a gemstone, that will give you the power and energy to believe in yourself and to know that you can accomplish anything in life if you put your mind to it.
It's been a hell of a year for me, just surviving it has shown me how strong I can be. It's easy to miss all the small ways we triumph over all that seeks to stop us, every day, in this strange realm, it is a heavy, hard place, but we can keep on walking and support each other, sharing inspiration, knowledge.
