The galleon waits under a starlit sky as the Moon turns blood red, the rough waters are dark and murky, as the sins of the pirates who set sail on yet another rampage across the high seas. Their leader was the young King from Cimmeria, Conan.
He and his crew of cutthroats landed in the Kingdom of Timeria, ruled by Amir Harun. His land was persecuted by a beast with four heads and a flaming breath, that had killed several of his warriors and his people. The Amir promised Conan two chests of treasures and the fairest women of the land if he killed the beast.
Conan had fought many battles over the years and this was not going to be different. He tracked the beast to a cave at the top of the mountain. The legends about the beast were true, it was a horrific monster, but Conan overpowered the creature and chopped off all four of the monstrous heads in quick succession before it could regrow them.
He threw all four dismembered heads into a large sack and presented them to the Amir, who gave him a bag of gold and told him to be on his way. Outside the gates of the palace walls, Conan was attacked by masked assassins. He wounded two and killed four of them. They were after his gold and he knew who had sent them.
The Cimmerian pulls his blood-soaked blade out of the Amir’s chest, as he sits on his throne of rubies and gold. He stared at the Cimmerian in disbelief, as he looked into the jaws of death.
The Cimmerian warrior was cheated out of his reward, for slaying the wild beast, when assassins were sent to kill him.
Conan would have it all, the treasures of the Amir and his harem of the most beautiful women in this wild and untamed land.
This felt good as bloody victory always did for Conan, the King from that forgotten Kingdom of mythical and mystical Cimmeria.
