It was Christmas Eve and it was snowing for the last week. Every home in the small town had its windows and doors shut. The families could not go out to do their shopping. Their reserve supplies were coming to an end. The parents were worried that their children would have no food on Christmas day.
Adam and his wife Mary, sat at their kitchen table and prayed that they would have a Christmas miracle. Nothing happened, it seemed that their prayers were not going to be answered. The family went to sleep with empty stomachs on Christmas Eve.
At eleven O’clock on Christmas Eve, Adam and his family awoke to the sounds of carol singing. Their two children Chloe and Robert ran to the window to see a small group of carol singers carolling in the snow. Adam put on his coat, as the carol singers continued singing outside. Mary cut pieces of Christmas cake they had saved for Christmas Day. Adam went outside and asked the talk gentleman with a short grey beard if he and the group would come into their home. He said that they were in a hurry and were visiting the other homes in the town. Those carol singers had voices filled with magic and melody.
Adam took the cakes and cups of tea to the carol singers who continued to sing in the falling snow. The singers were grateful for the cake and the tea. They moved to the next home and continued Carol singing. Adam, Mary and their children went to bed.
When they awoke the next morning, their kitchen table was filled with groceries and food for Christmas enough to last a full month. Adam rushed out with food to the other families in the town. He was surprised to find that every home had a kitchen table filled with food on Christmas Day.
Were the Carol singers from another dimension, were they angels with magical voices? It was a Christmas miracle. That morning the small Church in the town was filled with people of all faiths and beliefs. They walked through the deep snow, to the Church, to show their gratitude for their Christmas Carol Miracle.
