The new town looked very familiar to the Clown, as he performed in the Circus tent. Jack was a great clown. He enjoyed being a clown, though he often imagined that he could be a Judge and tell criminals, “Why, so serious?”, as he laughed.
It was a sense of Déjà vu. He remembered the streets, shops, and the house of the Judge, where he saw a woman sitting out on the porch in a rocking chair. Yes, she did look familiar. He was told that he was adopted. When she smiled at him, with those large grey eyes, “Mum”!!!!
