It has been said, “Life is a battlefield”.
Is this really true or just a cliché.
“Life is a game” according to some.
Whatever it is we need a home.
There are no gladiators to train.
There are no bulls or lions to tame.
We rise every morning and work,
For family, money and for fame.
In the colosseum of life we play,
From morning to the end of the day.
We have challenges to face in sight.
We do not give up on this fight.
There are obstacles and thing we cross.
Rough rides, love won and lost.
We are placed in the colosseum to live.
To receive less than we can give.
We are the gladiators in the colosseum.
The performers who live to the very end.
We need family and every good friend.
This is our soul journey that will never end.
