There were piles of dirty food plates on the floor. The meal had been served to twenty-four people at the large social gathering. At the end of the meal, the banker was dead, with his head on his plate.
The Banker’s wife emptied the bank accounts of her late husband and her lover who lay motionless in bed. She took a vial of poison from her bag, went to the toilet, crushed it, and cut her finger. The detective and his dog kept sniffing the dirty food plates. Would the killer ever be found or would she get away?
