The Illusions of Life and Death
Science says that Death is an Illusion
No one, not even Julius Caesar,
Could escape his death when it came.
No tyrant, villain, philosopher or Saint,
Could escape the bony fingers of Death.
It does not matter how great or how small,
Death comes and takes one and all.
Life is just an illusion according to some.
Life is to be lived with song, dance and rum.
This life can be difficult, challenging and tough.
We learn to take the smooth with the rough.
It does not matter how we live this life,
Dangerously, carefully or without strife.
Scientists now say that Death is an illusion.
Quantum physics can prove this theory now.
That whole problem of leaving loved ones behind,
Is just an illusion that occupies the human mind?
The life we have lived and are living now is a haze.
Death and all it will bring can leave anyone in a daze.
If all that we do in this life is only a mirage,
Are we just beings living among the comets and stars.
If we do not really leave this world behind as dust,
Are we just like breadcrumbs on an imaginary bread crust?
Life and death are the two great puzzles of this world.
Are we living as souls in circles that only swirls?
Death may be an Illusion according to Quantum Physics.
When God wants to take us He/She will. Live life and give it your best effort.
