The Ivy High Project or The AI versus HI Project
The AI VERSUS HI Literary Project of Warren Brown
‘Every man takes the limits of his own field of vision for the limits of the world.’
- Arthur Schopenhauer
The writer has used his artistic freedom to create scenarios where artificial intelligence meets human intelligence. The writer has imagined a futuristic world, where humans and machines co-exist in the Ivy High project or the AI versus HI project.
Using the medium of stories, poems, articles, and art, artificial intelligence will be explored imaginatively, and creatively and allowed to bloom in the new world created by the writer, Warren Brown. This will be a world where the pros and cons of AI in the world will be weighed, evaluated, and evolved to reach a higher dimension, as expressed by the writer. Biases of all nature will be shelved by the Creator and AI, as well as the voice of Human Intelligence, will be thrown into the arena of wild imagination and furious creativity. Exploration with limitless vision.

Artificial Intelligence is not a new modern idea and goes back thousands of years in ancient history. Philosophers spoke about life, death, and machines called automatons, that were created, which could perform tasks independently, like walking, flying, moving parts, and other mechanical actions.
A few of the automata worth mentioning are the Bronze Steeds of Cabeiri, the monstrous Caucasian Eagle that would rip its victims apart in the Caucasian mountains. The golden Celedones, were in the form of ethereal maidens, while the Golden Maidens, were crafted in gold and served in the palace of the Fire God. The large Gold and Silver Dogs were symbols and guarded the entrance to the palace of King Alcinus.
Talos was a colossus of bronze that was forged by the divine Hephaestus, he patrolled the island of Crete tirelessly. The Golden Fleece of King Aeetes of Colchis was guarded by the fierce and gleaming Bronze Bulls. Hephaestus had created Golden tripods for the Gods at Mount Olympus, which were automated, and they would move through the large halls, serving the Gods throughout the days and nights. The ancient Greeks also had their automata in the form of Clockwork Robots.
Human beings always feel that the world is all about them. They do not believe that they can use the treasures which are available in their imagination and creativity, to develop themselves in the future. The evolution of humanity is only possible when we clear our minds of all the dangers we face from the outside and realize we are a danger to ourselves. Artificial intelligence has been created by us, with its origins going back to the dawn of civilization. We have influenced these automated machines to do our bidding with programs we have placed in their mechanical brains. We developed machines to serve us, so why on Earth would we wilfully and knowingly build machines to destroy us and our way of life?
