The Mirror of the Gods, the Broken Mirror and Seven Years of Bad Luck
Writing Prompt: Do you have a superstitious mind?

The Greek’s believed that a reflection of a person on a water surface, revealed the soul of a person. It was the Roman artisans who made mirrors. It was believed that the Gods looked at us, through our mirrors. Furthermore, it was considered disrespectful to break a mirror, and the Gods would rain down bad luck on the careless individual.
Do you have a superstitious mind and walk around a ladder, or cross the road if you see a black kitten about to cross the road or when you or someone else breaks a mirror? The Gods are always watching us, whether we know it or not. The forces of the cosmos that created our worlds and a billion more like this one, are constantly observing the objects of their divine creation. The cosmic Gods do not really need to look through our mirrors, if they are present in everything in the worlds they created.
