The young Egyptian boy was very excited. The Pharoah, the ruler of the Kingdom, had died and he was going on his journey to the land of the God of Death, Hades, on a Friday. This was an exciting time for the people of the land. Everyone was waiting for the High Priests to inform them of the exact time when the Pharoah would leave Earth for his journey with the devoted servants of his Kingdom.
The greatest philosophers, alchemists, and scribes were gathering just outside the pyramid, as they recorded the last moments of the Pharoah. The musicians were playing their instruments, and the singers sang about the brave and noble deeds of the Pharoah. These tales of courage would be passed down the ages, as they were being inscribed on stone tablets. The most beautiful dancing girls were performing for the people of the Kingdom, in front of the tall imposing Sphinx and the Pyramid.
The Young teenager had to visit the inside of the pyramid to see what it looked like, the procession, the gold, and the mummy of the Pharoah, decorated with elaborate designs. The teenager was mesmerized by what he saw. All the servants, courtiers, and ministers of the Pharoah, were sitting around inside the pyramid, enjoying the feast and the festivities, for the fallen ruler. Suddenly, and without warning, there was a resounding rumble, as the pyramid was being sealed and the supporting pillars of concrete were broken quickly. The young teenager did not have an opportunity or time enough to escape his fate on that fateful Friday when he had to be part of the Pharoah’s procession to the land of Hades.
No telling what an old ruler’s followers will do to ensure delivery to the gate keepers house.
