Prison without walls
A hostage in a prison without walls
He was a prisoner in a prison without walls.
There were no fences and no guards around.
He had lived in that prison for so many years,
He was free but he was in chains in his tears.
The field was always lush and so green.
It was the most beautiful one ever seen.
Yet, he could never go beyond that field.
The entrance out of that prison was sealed.
One day the prisoner saw a rainbow in the sky.
He knew that rainfall was going to soothe his mind.
Every day he would wait for the Sun after the rain.
His patience filled his heart and made him kind.
Sam the prisoner was an arrogant man,
He was rich and his wealth was his invisible prison.
The years had changed his mind and he could now see,
The walls soon disappeared and he was finally free.
