The driver was slumped over the wheel. The train was moving faster and faster like it was gaining speed all the time. The passengers were nervous in their carriages. The men were ready to spring into action. But there were mostly elderly men and they were not that agile to climb out of a window and move along the side of the train, to go to the driver’s cabin and stop the train.
A young teenage girl, heard the men discussing the plan. She was an athlete and gymnast at school. She was dressed in her jeans and t-shirt, and she wore a pair of smart-looking sneakers. Judy was travelling with three of her friends. She leaped out of the window and climbed along the side of the moving train.
The train was passing furiously past stations. Judy climbed onto the roof of the train and proceeded to run across. She moved fast and she sailed over the top of the train. In a matter of minutes, Judy climbed into the driver’s cabin and moved the unconscious driver to the side. She pulled the levers and jammed the brakes of the train, which stopped in a few minutes, just before it crashed into the plane that was inching across.
The Director screamed “Cut, and stop filming”. It was another productive day at the filming of the latest action film, “The Runaway Train”.
