The tiny seed of a Chinese bamboo tree remains in the soil dormant and alive, for four years. In the fifth year, the seed pushes through the earth as a sapling. In the next five weeks, the bamboo grows by leaps and bounds until it is a fully grown bamboo tree, at 90 feet. The story of the amazing Chinese bamboo tree is hard to believe and yet it is true.
The farmers continue to water the soil because they believe and know that the seed is in the earth gaining nourishment from the soil, the water, and the sunlight that warms the earth. The seed has a mission to fulfill, it is in its genetic structure to push through the soil, the mud, and the sand to reach for its destiny which was planned.
The future of the Chinese bamboo tree was embedded into every fiber of the tree right down to its seeds. Like the seed, we are also carrying our own destiny, like a blueprint, which is engraved into every genetic molecule and atom that makes us who we are as individuals.
