Whenever you are lost and confused in life, always remember that life can be simple but we tend to complicate things by thinking too much. My dad’s favourite quote that he would like to use was “What is mind? No matter. What is matter? Never mind,” for when things seemed difficult in life. Dad would tell me to slow down and to simplify the issue I was facing, by breaking it down into smaller parts. Once this was done, the problem did not seem insurmountable. This quote of my Dad, helped me to overcome several obstacles in life.
Today, I thought about this quote and decided to share it with the world. When I searched for the quote online, I was surprised to find that there is a second part of the quote, “…What is soul? It is immaterial.” In my opinion this would mean that we should live our lives every day, doing whatever we enjoy.
Just as the soul can never be seen or found, similarly, life has so many dimensions that although we cannot see, do exist. We all need to fulfill our destinies by living our lives, instead of worrying about what could and could not happen. The soul is invisible and powerful, you are the bearer and the worthy carrier of that soul which needs to fulfill its earthly destiny today.
