The Stink of Wealth
You can smell success from a distance
Does wealth have a particular scent, I wonder? It could be the smell of luxury, great fortune great pleasures and decadent vacations as well as lifestyles. When a person is wealthy, they do not appreciate all the wealth that they have, because it usually comes with problems of every kind. Yet, some share their wealth and help the less fortunate in life, with their philanthropic actions. They donate money to so many causes, that it would take a long time to read the list.
There are those wealthy who keep all that they have close to their chest. They want more and their greed knows no bounds. These wealthy want their money to grow, from a sapling to a tree, to a forest and to cover the whole territory, with more and more of every variety of a money tree. Ordinary people can simply dream, as the rich create rivulets and tributaries, from an unending money stream.
Would you blame the rich for being wealthy? I do not think that you should. Most of them have made their fortunes in good and honest ways. They have wealth passed down for generations, growing as it comes down the generational stream. They invest their money wisely. It is the money of the wealthy that moves and shapes economies. It is the same wealth that spins around cities, towns, villages, government and industries, that keeps the world turning on its axis.
The young rich kids do not always appreciate the family legacy. Some prefer leading wild lives, endangering themselves and their families. However, there are those rich offspring who appreciate the wealth they have grown to inherit and they carry on the traditions of their parents to serve the world and to be kind and humble to all they meet.
The scent of success, honesty, humility, love and fellowship to all humanity, should emanate from those who are wealthy as Midas. It is usually those who struggle to succeed in life, who appreciate the success, fame and fortune that they accumulate. It is sometimes these individuals who make a big difference to society. They realize the importance of wealth as a tool for change and success in a world, that is so scarred and wounded by the claws of poverty.
Wealth is ultimately dependent upon good health. When an individual respects his or her life and those around him, he or she appreciates the miracle of his existence. Would you say that you would be an honest wealthy, healthy and happy person if you were as rich as a billionaire?
