The Tiny Candle Flame
Would it grow to make a name?
There was just a tiny flicker,
Like the slight glimpse of sunlight.
It was a new candle and the wick was young.
The new flame flickered with its soft light.
As the days went the candle flame grew,
To be a much stronger candle with its light.
As the months arrived and the seasons came,
The flame grew stronger and all knew its name.
The Candle flame was always burning bright.
Guiding everyone who was lost to its light.
The light from that candle reached far and wide.
The darkness was brighter, evil had no place to hide.
Over the years and decades that came and went,
The candle released a most beautiful scent.
When anyone saw that candle with its bright light,
They knew the world and everything would be alright.
The candle saw days of glory, sadness, joy and light,
Then the candle grew brighter, and smaller in its twilight.
The world wanted that candle to stay and not fade away.
The day came when the person and his illumination flew away.
