We would like to believe,
That we can get whatever we want in life.
We would also like to imagine,
That everything in life happens for a reason.
We also sometimes believe,
That every cause has an equal effect in life.
We believe in a benevolent universe,
That caters to all our needs in life.
We are children of the cosmos,
We are the heirs of the universal force.
We are children of the Sun and the Stars.
We are filled with our human feelings and powers.
In this large universe, we may be just specks,
Yet, we are so alive in so many aspects.
In this expanding universe drifting in time,
Our civilizations are built in every clime.
Humanity was always meant to exist,
Which is why the human race persists?
The dinosaurs occupied the stage in time,
They disappeared with the changes in our clime.
We, humans, came to exist on this planet,
We still persist and seem to be a great fit.
The universe is benevolent and kind to us,
It allows us to become greater than specks of dust.
The universe may one day cease to bestow its benevolence,
With all this disharmony in the world filled with violence.
We live in a benevolent universe,
It provides us with all that we need.
It gives us comfort, food, and shelter.
It protects the earth, plant, and seed.
The universe gives shelter to our human souls,
It allows us to evolve in our human roles.
The universe is home to every soul,
It satisfies our needs and makes us whole.
We give thanks to our benevolent universe,
In the lines and thoughts of this poetic verse.
