The Voice of a Vampire
Can you feel life being drained out of you?
The dark mysterious creature of the night,
Flies away like a bat before warm daylight.
The vampire hides from the light of day,
He rules the night and drinks blood anyway.
The vampire seeks out his victims,
To get a taste of their precious blood.
He could be killed with a sharpened wooden stake.
He would not drown in a frozen cold and icy lake.
I am the vampire who walks into your dreams.
I take away all that is good and leave evil in the mind.
I am a creature of the darkest and the scariest night,
Living a life more gruesome than you could ever find.
Werewolves, zombies, ghosts and every ghoul,
Scamper out of my sight when they watch me prowl.
I am the vampire who invades every living space,
I take over the darkest hearts without leaving a trace.
A drink of fresh blood pleases my soul,
It gives me a renewed sense of purpose in life.
Every sip of human blood gives me a great high,
I can rise to the skies and like a bat, I can fly.
I am a vampire who enters your good dreams,
I crush your goals and ambitions every day.
I suck out the energy from your healthy positive mind,
I fill you with fear and dread of every conceivable kind.
The vampires in life we so often meet,
Are the ones you would cross the street?
These vampires fill your mind and heart with negative energies.
They scatter your life and soul like ashes among the living trees.
Every vampire does not wear those bloody fangs.
They sink their claws of indecision into your mind and heart.
They will drag you to the depths of hell and despair,
Leaving you without thinking twice, and without a care.
The vampires in life do not turn into bats at night,
Nor do they keep away from broad daylight.
Blood-sucking vampires of the world we live in,
Fill their world and your heart and mind with evil sin.
I am the vampire who prowls on your fears.
I rise like a bat in smoke when it all clears.
The vampire of fear, envy and hatred you can destroy,
When you fill your life with positivity and great joy.
