Time is a Healer
The river of time moves slowly forward
In life we face so many challenges, yet we need to take time to learn from them. Some are minor while some challenges are major in life. There are always hurdles to overcome for us to get what we want. This is not always the case for some people who seem to glide effortlessly in life. I guess those who overcome obstacles to what they want in life, appreciate it a little more. While those who gain whatever they desire in life, tend to take it all for granted. This may or may not be true.
We all go through painful situations at some point in our lives. It could be a broken heart, the loss of a loved one or failure to get what we have been working towards, like a new job, a switch in careers or moving to a new land to start life afresh. Overcoming the loss of a loved one, is not easy, but time is a healer and we gradually learn to cope with the absence of a special person.
The river of time moves forward, and we need to accept that certain things in life may not work out for us. Perhaps, it was not the right time. There are a time and a place for everything in life, from the new car, the new job, finding the love of your life and your new home.
Time is a healer and it helps us to evolve, to develop in heart, mind, and soul to meet the new challenges and to accept the outcomes, with a brave face and a courageous heart. Everything that we do in life, does not end in failures, of course we have our minor and major successes. It is these moments of success and triumph in our lives that we need to cherish and celebrate. It is also the perfect time to feel those emotions and keep them for the days when we may feel frustrated and defeated. Time does heal and it is that sweet and soothing balm, that helps us to rise from the ground, dust the sand off our trousers and to move ahead to accomplish what we want, need and where we aspire to be in life.
Time reminds me of Merlin the magician, a healer who can help you to look at your problems, to remind you that you have faced them courageously and to use the emotions of those moments to act as a magical spell to help you to get the success you need as you fulfil your life mission. How do you allow your scars to heal in time and are there experiences that you use as tools that help you to grow and evolve as a writer and as a human being?

Very well written piece. You are right Warren, time is a great healer, but the river of time moves slowly.
I also believe that those who get what they desire in an easy way, they tend to take it all for granted. When you work hard or go through difficult times, you learn to appreciate your blessings.
