Typing is so much faster than handwriting stories
In the past writers wrote so much by handwriting their manuscripts
Some writers can write, without stopping.
They seem to have an abundance of inspiration,
They fill others with a bit of envy and motivation.
Yet, others do not like writing every single day.
They have multiple excuses that they use anyway.
There are still writers who handwrite everything.
They write pages and pages of literary work.
After the pages are all complete, they are pleased.
They sit down to type it on a computer with great speed.
These writers have their system and it does work.
Several writers type their work, every page,
On good old typewriters that still do a good job.
These writers may not be in great abundance.
They are willing to do great stories in elaborate detail.
These authors create masterpieces not by chance.
There are writers like myself who type their work,
Directly onto a computer and save them in folders.
These writers are well organized with work going back years.
They have been through the stages of typewriters and tears,
They have also handwritten stories in the past for years.
I often wonder how the writers of old,
Used quills and fountain pens to write their work.
They wrote painstakingly and yet they persisted.
Geniuses like Dickens, Austen, Tolstoy, and Shakespeare,
Gave the world literary classics that inspire us every year.
Typing is so much faster than handwriting stories.
It is even faster to type our work on computers.
Some writers do not write on paper nowadays.
Yet, in the past writers had a most difficult task,
To take their work to their readers in simple ways.
Time to create. Electric elocution excites the keys. Voice over the waves , but words still come from within and need edits . Writers push the hands of the clock whether Shakespeare or not. Quotes are written down, remembered if found to be true. Be true to your words and they will never fail you nor others that read with respect.
